NOTES:
Thank you for your inquiry. Currently, there are some days in January to mid-February when reservations cannot be made through our reservation site. This is not a malfunction; we are fully booked and have no rooms available. As we are a small lodge, we may fill up quickly.
If a cancellation occurs, we will sell rooms. Skiing and snow activities are possible at Shiga Kogen until the end of March. Accommodation rates are also cheaper in March, so please come and visit us. Thank you for your understanding.
The average length of stay last season was 5.2 days. Thank you very much to everyone who used our lodge.
Reservations for next season will be for 2 or more adults per room for 5 consecutive nights or more from early August to the end of November
The accommodation fee will be the same for New Year's holidays and Saturdays during the high season from December 22nd (tentative date) to March 9th.
Villa Alpen will continue to strive to be a facility where guests can enjoy long-term stays with safety and security as our motto.
At the same time, we aim to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 60 tons per year by utilizing hot spring heat and heat pumps in order to pass
on the finest powder snow of Shiga Kogen to the next generation (children and grandchildren).
Please feel at home in our small, rustic lodge run by a family. The attached bar is the perfect place to relax after skiing.

Spring
March to April,we can enjoy Cherry blossoms,Playing in the snow and Snow Monkey at same time.
Cherry blossoms from low altitudes to high altitudes, usually, the cherry blossoms would bloom sequentially from Nagano 300m to Shiga Kogen at 1,500 meters over the course of almost a month.
Summer
Much cooler than better-known Karuizawa.
