The first snow fell in Shiga Kogen on November 5th. We look forward to seeing you all again this winter.

Last year the average length of stay was 5.7 days. We will continue to ensure that Villa Alpen remains a place where you can fully enjoy long stays.

We are a small family-run rustic lodge where you can really feel at home.  Our bar is the perfect spot for apres-ski relaxation!!  An old fireplace warms up happy chatting with variety of drinks, snacks and music, too...

We are Nonsmoking lodge, No TV in guest room, No Yukata service,No Toothbrush ,
Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms. Bath towel, face towel guest in guest rooms
Our standard is to change your bath towels and bed linen every 4 days,and again after you've checkedout. Please stay and enjoy earth friendly Villa Alpen for next generation.

Spring
March to April,we can enjoy Cherry blossoms,Playing in the snow and Snow Monkey at same time.
Cherry blossoms from low altitudes to high altitudes, usually, the cherry blossoms would bloom sequentially from Nagano 300m to Shiga Kogen at 1,500 meters over the course of almost a month.
Summer
Much cooler than better-known Karuizawa.
27c (81ｆ) highest temperature Last Summer,
Average :20c（68ｆ）.Altitude:1,500m:4500feet.. Many hiking and trekking routes available, many highland flowers, birds, ponds,and water falls.
